OUR PROCESS...

Whether it's an audio video system for your car, boat or home, our process involves multiple phases and ensures the right questions are asked... and answered!

FOR CAR, BOATS, TRUCKS, GOLF CARTS, MOTORCYCLES...

In order to get the best audio video system for your vehicle, it is IMPERATIVE that we see your vehicle in person.  There are many factors involved in the selection of equipment and the ONLY way we can work up a design and estimate is to first see your vehicle.  Please stop by the store and we will be happy to work with you to develop an understanding of your goals and budget, design a system that will meet your needs and schedule you for installation of your system.

FOR HOME...

 Phase One

Phase One is all about planning and design with the goal of designing a system that will meet your requirements and goals. We perform the following steps in phase one:

1. We interview you for the purpose of understanding your goals.
2. We design a system that will accomplish your goals.
3. We present the system to you via our proposal.
4. We get your feedback and incorporate changes that you specify.
5. We submit a revised proposal as necessary.

(We repeat steps 4 and 5 as necessary to ensure you are completely satisfied with the design.)

   6. We both sign the Purchase Agreement.  At this time we require a deposit of 60% of the total price.

Phase Two

Phase Two is the equipment purchase (as defined in Phase One) and the low voltage pre-wire installation.  Phase two steps include:

1. We place orders for the equipment.
2. We set up a schedule for performing the pre-wire installation. (For new construction the pre-wiring is done after the electrician has finished and  before the insulation is installed.)
3. We obtain a low voltage wiring permit when required.
4. Utilizing the pre-wire list that is derived from the project design we pre-wire the entire project and install preliminary hardware that is required for the project. (Items such as low voltage equipment cabinets, security sensors, etc)
5. We conduct a quality assurance inspection of the work performed and correct any deficiencies.
6. We perform a walk through with you and discuss any changes that arise. Changes will be agreed upon, and a change order reflecting the system design change will be issued.
7. We implement changes as required.
8.We call for the low voltage inspection.

Phase Three

Phase Three is the equipment installation, calibration and programming phase. In phase three we perform the following steps:

1. We schedule a time for installing the equipment.
2. We install all equipment.
3. We calibrate equipment as necessary.
4. We program the system as required.

  5. We perform a quality assurance test of the system and correct any deficiencies.
  6. We conduct a walk through and discuss any changes you desire.
(Changes will be agreed upon, and a change order will be issued.)
7. We implement required changes.

Phase Four

Phase Four is the home owner specific custom programming and the home owner instructional phase. In phase four we perform the following steps:

1. We educate you on all options that you have to consider. (Some of the options may include lighting scenes; music play lists definition; automation activities; etc.)
2. We implement / program your specific requirements from the options discussed in Step 1.
3. We provide you with hands on training and educate you on how to use your new system.
4. We provide you with up to 3 follow up visits. During each of the follow up visits we repeat Steps 1 through 3.

Testing and Evaluation

Testing is performed at the completion of each phase. The actual testing that is performed is dependant on the system installation and the products that have been installed in the system. At completion of the installation the entire system is tested.

Performance Milestones

The following milestones are used to measure the success and progress of this project:

Completion of low voltage wire installation
Ordering and receipt of equipment
Installation of equipment
Programming of equipment
Completion of quality assurance testing
Completion of home owner training

Going Green

Conserving energy is good for your conscience, the environment and your pocketbook! Using home automation products for entertainment systems, lighting and climate control can save energy and reduce expenses.
